Embassy Guitars is a part of Donnatone Limited. Started by Luthier Jono Graham, Donnatone has had a few different makes and models of custom guitars developed over the years. Embassy Guitars is the start of an effort to consolidate into some more focussed directions. Embassy Guitars will be dealing specifically with electric instruments. We also want to make customisation a lot more affordable and achievable for more people! I will of course still be doing donnatone and donnachaidh full custom instruments but embassy guitars can provide a more affordable option for those with a smaller and more limited budget!See us whether you need a new instrument, a quick patch up to get your favourite instrument back up and running, or complete overhaul to restore your beauty!

Donnatone Music is not just the story of a manufacturing company, it is the story of one mans' passion for music and his passion for the people that make it happen. Jonathan "Jono" Graham, CEO and director of Donnatone, started repairing guitars when he was a high school student. From there one thing led to another and now Donnatone Ltd proudly produces beautifully hand crafted guitars in New Zealand made from high quality materials.
Based in Christchurch New Zealand, not only do we use traditional tonewoods in our builds but we have access to high quality locally sourced New Zealand native timber as well as being surrounded by recycled materials from the destruction of the earthquakes. As such, each instrument is unique. We hold ourselves up to the highest of standards, and have been manufacturing guitars since 2010. As a Guitar Manufacturer we continue to expand our practices each and every day. Our innovative designs and diverse range of options ensure all of our instruments are created with the greatest degree of precision and care.
